Saint Augustine Academy has been one of my favourite labels for some time now and they have delivered again with their latest range ‘Crystal Ballroom’ which has been inspired by a late 70’s Melbourne venue of the same name. These are by far my favourite pieces from the range though, the Vampire Jackets. They are just so dam good they actually might restore some creditability to vampires after the horrible twilight saga. Apart from looking amazing the quality is perfect as you can expect from this label and they are very versatile.

For those looking for a cheaper alternative We Rob Bank’s Russel Jacket is great value for money. I guess the name implies that they have been designed with Russel Brand in mind, so it should increase your chances with ultra hot pop stars, which is always a plus. A jacket like this for $179.95 is a bargain, get one before they sell out.

I will start by saying Sup? Sup? Sup? Sup?...I sometimes like to address a galaxy of beautiful women like this in passing on the street, it works 60% of the time, every time! But only if utilised properly in conjunction with the subtle head lift whilst performing said "Sup."

In 2010 I was lucky enough to be A man of leisure, travelling around the world! More specifically Asia, Africa and Europe. Luckily for you, I have a highly tuned observation skills, so I was able to take in a lot of knowledgeable information about all of the finer things in life including travel, food, alcohol, style, art, music, sport and generally anything worth doing!

In the form of pictures, articles, stories and other fun mediums on The Modern Cavaliers pages I will basically be giving you my life and the things I aspire to have and fulfill, along with a bunch of other cool (stuff)! So as I continue to broaden my horizons, hopefully I can be insightful enough to help broaden yours.

As you maybe able to infer, I enjoy the Japanese language. I have been lucky enough to travel to this beautiful country on a couple of occasions, the more recent 'trip' was spent on a freezing mountain for the better part of a season, a far cry from the warmth of the Queensland sun. There is something about Japan that always draws me in, maybe it's the culture, the food, the naked bath time with strangers, I'm not quite sure. It is definitely a part of me I wish to share with others. Be sure to look out for some Japanese Dishes in my upcoming cooking posts!

What activity is mostly enjoyed on weekends? It starts with a S and the last 4 letters is the name of a delicious alcoholic beverage. If you guessed Sbeer, then you were wrong! The answer, of course, is Sport! Whether it is an actual sport eg cricket, soccer, AFL or a made up game eg dart cricket, bottle cap bouncing, I am more than interested in being involved! I am most passionate about Soccer (Football I should say) as you will see with a number of my posts to be based on the World Game for example, English Premier League Goal of the Week, English Premier League Match Reviews and Fantasy Premier League Hints and Tips!

My occupation, for everyone who is interested, is a Financial Adviser. I completed a Bachelor of Commerce Majoring in Accounting and Minoring in Financial Planning in 2009. I have had 3 years experience in the financial planning industry and a lot more to come! Being a young professional does have its challenges, and here at The Modern Cavaliers, we will provide some guidance on how to manage ones professionalism.

I leave the best until last, and that is おんがく (Music). My fingers have been strumming the strings of a guitar for almost 10 years now, and I am lucky to have learnt how to play musical instruments. It has given me a deeper appreciation for Music as an art form and nothing fulfills me more than sitting back and pleasuring my ears to someone's art! You will notice numerous posts about music, including album, song, artist and concert reviews as well as some basic tutorials for the guitar. If I'm feeling adventurous I might even post an original recording!

Welcome to The Modern Cavaliers

The latest album from Norwegian band Shining is just..... Great. If you haven't heard of these guys before they actually started out as an acoustic jazz quartet back in 1999 and have since moved into producing some amazing metal music. Their latest release combines black metal and free jazz into what they have coined as blackjazz. I still haven't decided if its the metal album of the year but it is up there. If you like your into metal black and are looking for a unique sound check it out.

Hola, mi amigo. Comos estas?

I’m Bryce and my background is in accounting. I have my Bachelors with dual majors in Accounting and Financial Planning, and I am currently studying for my CPA with intentions to one day at least get my MBA. But that's the last we are gonna talk about that! Cause lets face it..... Accounting is boring!

Instead I will be bringing you the best of the things that I know, love and am passionate about. Australia has a massive fashion scene creating some very unique trend setting clothing and accessories, so I will be bringing you the best of what is coming out of Australia and a touch of my favourite labels from overseas.

I am a massive muso and one day I will eventually learn to play that gorgeous guitar I brought so so long ago. My taste is very varied from electro, metal to indie and pretty much anything in between.... except country. I will be throwing you clips of new bands and songs of whatever is making me whip my hair back and forth like I’m Will Smith’s daughter that week (worst song ever).

Along with this I will be posting news, reviews and guides to products that interest me and that I think will interest you too; everything from golf gear, technology to astronomy equipment.
