Torstein Horgmo has won this year's X Games Big Air in spectacular style by landing a Triple Cork to put him in the lead over his opponent Seb Toots by just one point! Check out the clip below to see how he pulled off this amazing clip.

Archer is a hilarious tv show! I have been waiting in anticipation for the second season now for what feels like forever. If you havent seen the show before check out the clip below. It stars Sterling Malory Archer (H. Jon Benjamin) as basically James Bond crossed with Charlie Sheen and the adventures he gets up to as a not so secret agent. Brilliant.

Goal of the Week in the English Premier League this week goes to Raul Meireles' stunning strike against Wolves. It was between his strike and Drogba's, however Raul's was technically perfect!

Usually the words Bad Ass and Humidor aren't used in the same sentence.... Until now. I have been perusing the net of late looking for a nice new humidor to store my cigars in and came across this gem. It looks likes something you would find in a witch's house.... I'm pretty sure if you open it up a ghost will come out.
So clearly I must have it! But thrilling looks aside it is built with kiln dried mahogany, dual humidifiers, can hold around 120 cigars and conveniently comes with its own set of scissors. Have I mentioned i like it yet? I like it and for $139USD it's very reasonable price for a humidor of this size.
For more info or to purchase First Class Humidors.
It has just been announced that Marilyn Manson will be a guest mentor on Helden Von Morgen (Tomorrow's Heroes) which is basically the Austrian version of X-Factor. I love Manson and the awesome music he once made oh so long ago, but does anyone think this is a good idea? Anyone at all? It sounds about as good as Christina Aguilera covering Beautiful People by Marilyn Manson.... I am sorry its so so bad, to all those that actually watch this, I will somehow make it up to you...

There were a number of great games in the Premier League this week including the thrilling 4-3 win to Man City against the Wolves. However, the local derby between Birmingham and Aston Villa provided just as much entertainment from the outset, and though the score finished 1-1, it could have easily been something like 2-4 with Villa hitting the woodwork 4 times!

The Foo Fighters have released a 29 second teaser of their new album..... Well that is just cruel!! I must admit I love the Foo Fighters but I had low expectations for the next album, but that has all changed. Check it out its Foo Fighters as they should be... And stay tuned, I would bet there will be much more teasing to come
So ignoring his failure if you haven't seen the site Kick Starter before I would suggest you all check it out. It is a place where people with a creative idea can advertise their concepts in the hope of getting enough funding. My favourite on there at the moment is this neat sleep mask that wakes you up by imitating the Sun. Brilliant. Check it out here

If you haven't heard of SoundCloud before it is a website where people can upload their music for others to enjoy for free. So if your not a DJ and your throwing a party or just want something to listen to then check it out. I am currently been cranking Andy Tokyo's mixes lately, he does some very nice indie work. I love this site and will be bringing you more treasures as I find them.

Made to go bigger, track better, and land softer...it's the ultimate in modern day high performance.
Whether you're landing backside 7's or spinning your first 3, this board is designed to give you a fun experience like none other.
Aggressive, three-stage rocker straight through the centre with exaggerated curve out the tips-quick transitions into the tail section for a straight up pop off the wakes. D-I-S-C hull through centre-double-inside-single-concave... softens landings and maintains board speed.
Quad channel / quad fin controlled water flow through ends for extra thrust and lift.
Variable edge rail-rolled edge through midsection becoming sharper as it moves towards the tips...forgiving, catch-free through middle, hard cutting and fast off the tail.
Quad moulded-in warped fin setup speed, hold, and projection out of turns and off the wake.
Here is a list of my recent votes for the Triple J Hottest 100:

Junip - Always
Papa Vs Pretty - Heavy Harm
Seabellies - Trans Ending
School of Seven Bells - Windstorm

If your into SciFi shows or you have just realized that Family Guy is no longer funny and need something to watch, check out Caprica. I am up to the last episode of the first season at the moment and I have gotten way too in to it, prob just cause Alessandra Torresani is a nerdy fox. But either way I recommend it which is all that matters.

Vote for it in the triple j hottest 100!
Olympus invented the rugged camera many years ago and have since been up there with the best in the category. They have now released the new line up of Tough cameras for 2011 the TG-310 and the TG-610.
The new Tough cameras are Waterproof (to 16 feet for the TG-610 and 10 feet for the TG-310), Shockproof (to 5 feet) and Freezeproof (to 14 degrees Fahrenheit) to deliver amazing images even when you take them to extremes. There is also an optional underwater housing for the TG-610 that will allow it go to depths of 131ft. Beyond their durable exteriors, the TG-610 and TG-310 deliver superior image quality thanks to 14 megapixels, high-definition (HD) video, wide-angle optical zoom lenses (5x on the TG-610 and 3.6x on the TG-310) and dual image stabilization. The cameras come in a variety of colors to complement your own individual style. Current estimated pricing is TG-310 $199USD and TG610 $299USD and will be available in February.
Bottom Line: We will have to see the picture quality when they come out, at the moment if your in the market for a rugged go anywhere camera the Panasonic Lumix DMC-TS2 are the best in the category for overall strength and picture quality. The silver version is currently on sale here
for $265USD.

Fujifilm has announced the new FinePix X100 to great interest of professional and enthusiast photographers. Now lets face it, anyone can throw a retro style case on a camera and it will be a commercial success, I would probably buy it. But Fujifilm has gone all out with the FinePix X100 with the intentions to compete with the low to mid range DSLRs but still be a small nimble package that can fit in your pocket. The camera features a 12.3-megapixel APS-C-sized CMOS sensor and an f/2 lens with a fixed focal length of 23mm, equivalent to a 35mm semi-wide angle. Now for the downside, the current expected approx retail price is $1,200USD which is very heavy when you think of what DSLRs are available in that price range, you could get a D90 with a couple of decent lenses for that. But you can't get a Leica for that price and that is really where this camera comes into its own. All those that can't afford the hefty price of a Leica but want a small camera that can take DSLR quality pictures.
Bottom Line: Is it worth the money? Well I will let you know in March when I get my hands on one..... Right after I spend the night in a bar picking up girls by pretending I'm a journo that just got back from some war zone.... I am convinced this will work... Until then, grab a Nikon P7000 instead for around $500 for great picture quality at a very low price (currently on sale here
for $379USD Bargain!).

I am a massive fan of David Bowie's music. He is a legend and not just because he invented the fashionable mullet which bogans everywhere thank him for, but he did pave the way for a lot of musicians to come. So here are a couple of clips as a tribute.

After a solid year of music mainly including indie rock, pop and acoustic, we are greeted with a large list of bands that have made 2011 the year for the release of their album! The following details my Top 10 Mostly Anticipated Albums and also some honourable mentions:

1. The Strokes - Title TBA - Many have been awaiting this fourth Studio album for the New York quintet, with the original date of release of September 2010 being tentatively pushed back to March 2011 due to conflicts within the band as to whether the record was ready for release. If anyone was lucky enough to see them on their tour to Australia, you would know that they sounded as tight as ever which is a good sign that the album will be as well.
2. Bon Iver - Title TBA - After a stellar debut album, I am sitting on my hands waiting for Bon Iver's second studio album. In August of 2010, front man Justin Vernon noted during an interview with Pitchfork that the new album was '75% along the way' and estimated it would probably be another year until we can hear it. He is said to be very happy with the way the album has progressed with a number of his favourite musicians contributing to some tracks. Obviously we will hear more news about it during the year, but for now put a cold winter's day stamp on August!
3. Santigold - Title TBA - A debut album and a change of letter within her stage name (From Santogold to Santigold due to legal reasons) Philly born artist, Santi White, is tipped to set off some eargasms with her follow up album from her self titled debut released in 2008. A release date has not been set as yet, but expect to hear from Spank Rock in a track and Q-Tip is working as a producer on this one.
4. Coldplay - Title TBA - The fifth studio album from one of the world's most well known bands is set for release later this year. Frontman, Chris Martin, has revealed that the album will be much more stripped back and personal than the previous 4 albums. The album was originally set for release in late 2009, however had to be pushed back as the band's extensive world tour left them with still a lot of work to do.
5. Beth Orton - Title TBA - One of my favourite female singers is back again, after I thought there would be no more from her. It is said that she has performed some of her new songs live already, which would mean that she is either testing the waters, or the album is just about completed!
6. Lykke Li - Wounded Rhymes - The first album from talented Swede populated a majority of my playlists for most of 2009/2010. This second album promises to be more deeper and darker with a power theme underlining the musical concoctions.
7. Cold War Kids - Mine is Yours - This is the third studio for the indie band which in reference to their previous work can be described as soulful indie pop rock. Expect the new album to be a little more mature sounding and much more polished.
8. The Lonely Island - Title TBA - With songs like 'Jizz In My Pants', 'Boombox' and 'I'm On A Boat' throwing me into hysterics every time I listen to them, I can honestly say that I am very much looking forward to another dose of well thought out, comical lyrics with a majority of the songs featuring some well known artists!
9. Jens Lekman - Title TBA - He is one Quirky Swede .....If you haven't heard anything of Jens I suggest you listen to this version of 'Your Arms Around Me' recorded at Triple J in Australia. This will make you want to hear more!
10. Cut Copy - Zonoscope - One of the very few dancier outfits I listen to, mainly thanks to a few of their previous tracks being featured on FIFA. I am looking forward to listen to this album to see if Cut Copy can maintain the catchiness of their tracks, and keep me listening to a genre of music that isn't my favourite!
Honourable Mentions:
Radiohead
Noah and the Whale
REM
My Morning Jacket
The Avalanches
Ting Tings
